Funeral services, scattering of ashes, interment of ashes, graveside burial and committal

What is a funeral?

To say that final goodbye and close the chapter of your loved one with dignity and respect.

What do I do next?

Once you have chosen to have a celebrant led service, I will arrange to meet with you in your home to discuss all that you wish to have as part of the service.  This meeting should last up to 2 hours.

What else do I need?

It is helpful for any notes that the deceased person may have left behind regarding music, religion, readings or poems. However, there is a vast library of music and readings which you can choose from should you not have any special notes or guidance and I can help you make the appropriate choices. I will discuss with you all the procedures regarding timings and protocols.

I can help you choose music and/or hymns, readings, poetry and construct a fitting tribute for your loved one.  I can also play the organ for your service if needed.

Extension of burial or cremation service

An appropriate and meaningful service can be created for a graveside committal, to scatter or inter ashes; and also the final laying to rest for your pets.

Funeral planning

Plan your funeral service and special requests so the people you leave behind know exactly how you want it to be.

The Closing Chapter

"I fall asleep in the full and certain hope

that my slumber shall not be broken;

And that though I be all-forgetting,

Yet shall I not be forgotten,

But continue that life in the thoughts

and deeds of those I love."
