Naming Ceremony for babies and children
An opportunity to welcome a new life to your family and define the child with their own identity. A naming ceremony is an alternative to the traditional baptism ceremony, and can be tailored to your own beliefs with sensitivity and spirituality.  Traditional baptisms require godparents, so you may wish to assign friends or family in a similar role. If you do not wish to use the title: "godparent" other suggestions are: "sponsor" or "champion". They can fulfill this role with their own individual style and dedication.
